When running a public Arma 3 server, you may encounter situations where a player is disrupting the experience for others. In these situations, server owners may wish to remove these players by either kicking or banning them.
In order to use administrative actions such as kicking or banning, you must be logged into your server as an Administrator.
#Kicking a Player
You can remove a player by using the kick command when connected to your server as an admin.
- Launch Arma 3 and Connect to your server.
- Press the
/command on your keyboard to open the chatbox. - Enter the command
#kick player_nicknameto kick the desired player.
#Banning a Player
You can ban a player from your server by using the ban command in the chatbox when connected to your server as an admin.
- Launch Arma 3 and Connect to your server.
- Press the
/command on your keyboard to open the chatbox. - Enter the command
#exec ban player_nicknameto ban the desired player.
